Inspections
Is the roof inspection really free?
Yes. There's no cost and no obligation. You'll get photos of what we found and an honest recommendation, even if that recommendation is to do nothing.
How long does an inspection take?
About 90 minutes. We check the roof surface, flashing, vents, gutters and, when we can, the attic and interior ceilings for signs of leaks.
Do I need to be home for the inspection?
We recommend it so we can look inside for leak signs and walk you through the photos at the end. If you can't be there, let us know when you book and we'll talk through the findings by phone.
When can I schedule an inspection?
Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm. Book online in about a minute, or call or text (904) 373-8273.
What areas do you serve?
Jacksonville and the surrounding counties: Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau and Baker. If you're nearby and not sure, give us a call.
Insurance claims
Will my insurance pay for a new roof?
It depends on your policy and on what caused the damage. Sudden damage from a covered event like a hurricane or windstorm is often covered. Normal wear and age usually isn't. We document what we find so you and your insurer can make that call with clear evidence.
How long do I have to file a roof claim in Florida?
Under Florida law, notice of a new or reopened property insurance claim must be given within 1 year of the date of loss, and a supplemental claim within 18 months. Your policy may set additional terms, so check it or ask your agent. Our insurance claim guide explains the process.
Will you meet with my adjuster?
Yes. We can be on the roof when your adjuster inspects, so the damage we documented is seen firsthand.
Repairs, replacements and pricing
What should I know about your pricing?
Our pricing is straightforward and based on the scope of work, materials and complexity of the job. We don't charge hidden fees, and every cost is explained up front, in writing, before work begins.
What's your process for working with a new customer?
We start with a thorough inspection to find the true issue, explain our findings clearly, and outline the best repair options. Once you approve, we complete the work efficiently and make sure everything is properly sealed and documented before we close out the job.
How do I know if I need a repair or a replacement?
Roof age, how widespread the damage is and whether leaks keep coming back are the biggest factors. Try our repair or replace check, then let a free inspection give you a firm answer.
What roofing materials do you install?
Asphalt shingle, metal and clay tile. We install the full Owens Corning product lineup and also offer Rhino Shield ceramic coatings.
What warranty do you offer?
We back our workmanship with a 10-year warranty. Roofing materials also carry their own manufacturer warranties, which we'll explain for the products on your roof.
What is a roof tune-up?
Preventive maintenance for a roof that's still in good shape: resealing flashing and pipe boots, securing loose shingles, clearing valleys and checking ventilation. See the tune-up checklist.
What payment methods do you accept?
Apple Pay, cash, check, credit card, Cash App and Zelle.
