A Jacksonville roofing company built on straight answers
Shield Roofing is locally owned and operated, licensed and insured, and focused on one thing: telling homeowners the truth about their roofs, then doing the work right.
Why we started Shield Roofing
Ask around Jacksonville and you'll hear the same stories: a roofer who found "damage" that wasn't there, an estimate full of line items nobody explained, a crew that left nails in the driveway. We started Shield Roofing to be the company those homeowners wish they'd called.
That means every job begins with a real inspection and photos you can see for yourself. If your roof needs a small repair, that's what we quote. If it needs nothing, we tell you that too. And when we do the work, we stand behind it for 10 years.
We're a new company, and we know trust is earned one roof at a time. Our early customers have rated us 5.0 on Thumbtack, and we intend to keep it that way.
Why "Shield"
Your roof is the shield between your family and everything a Florida sky can throw at it: summer downpours, salt air, 95-degree sun and hurricane-force wind.
We chose the name because it's the standard we hold ourselves to. A shield isn't something you think about on a calm day. It's something you count on when the storm comes. That's how we want you to feel about the roof we put over your head.
What you can count on
These aren't extras. They're how every Shield Roofing job works.

A clean property
We protect your landscaping, clean up at the end of every day and sweep for nails before we leave.
Local and reachable
Our office is at 4720 Salisbury Rd in Jacksonville. Call or text (904) 373-8273 and you'll reach our team, not a call center.
How we work
Honest
We recommend what your roof needs and nothing more. If a small repair will buy you several more good years, that's the quote you'll get.
Thorough
We look at the whole roof, the attic and the gutters, because a stain on the ceiling is often a symptom of a problem somewhere else.
Accountable
We put our warranty in writing and answer the phone after the job is done.
Our promise: you'll understand exactly what's wrong with your roof, what it will cost to fix, and what happens next, before you spend a dollar.
